Suns pulled away to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves for
the ninth straight time, 104-95, on Thursday.
The Suns played their first game since February 22, but
showed little rust while shooting better than 53 percent,
including nearly 61 percent in the third quarter.
FIVB Men's World Championships
Next to the Olympic games, the World Championship is
the most prestigious event in the world of volleyball. 24
teams will compete for the title of World Champion, a title
than can only be captured once every four years.
2010 marked the 16th time that this event has occurred.
The first Men's Championship took place in 1949 in
Prague, Czechoslovakia. The first time the Canadian
Men's team competed was in 1974 in Mexcico city, Mexico
where they finished in 20th place. Canada has also competed in
the 1978 (20th place), 1982(11th place), 1990
(12th place), 1994 (10th place), 1998(12th place), 2002
(17th place), and 2006 (11th place) games.
